Automotive Case study
We previously carried out construction works for this car dealership where we completed a showroom fit out which extended into its existing workshop space, and this is a separate building we later fitted out to provide an alternative workshop facility. Extensive groundworks were carried out during this project in order to meet requirements for automotive testing and service requirements.
Our team stripped out the existing unit, then proceeded with the internal fit out works. These comprised new workshop heating and ventilation systems, lighting, electrical services, joinery, wall linings and floor coverings. New vehicle and pedestrian access doors were also installed, as well as a new ceiling and partitioning.
Upon completion of the works, new VOSA floor markings were installed ready for the specialist installation of the service and MOT testing equipment.
The pre-installed mezzanine floor provided first floor facilities for staff, and the refurbishment works included the construction of new staff areas which featured a new office space, canteen facilities and WCs.
We carried out this refurbishment over a five week period and it resulted in a turnkey solution for the dealership’s workshop.
