Project Details

A full strip out and refurbishment of the current sales and after sales facilities. The works were completed whilst the staff were relocated into temporary offices on the dealership forecourt. The existing ceiling, stud partitioning, joinery, soft and ceramic floor finishes were completely stripped out. To take the showroom back to its shell, all current electrical and mechanical services were removed. Externally, the complete site of over two thousand square metres was prepared and new tarmac finishes were laid. Paladin fencing and gates were installed to cordon off the sales and storage areas.

Extensive internal building work was carried out after the strip out was completed, to reconfigure the existing walls and provide trenches for the new water supplies. Power and data services were installed for the new specialist showroom furniture and vehicle locations. Stud partitioning and lay-in grid ceilings were fitted throughout the showroom and glazed sectioning was installed in the office areas. Ceramic floor tiling was laid in the showroom, handover bays and service areas. The existing showroom cladding, roller shutter doors and shopfront glazing were prepared and fully resprayed, with bifold and steel security access doors installed. Laminated doors, skirting boards and architraves were fitted throughout all areas.

Air conditioning, ventilation and electrical services were installed throughout the site. The mechanical provision comprised air conditioning for the new offices and showroom along with ventilation services. Raft lighting, data services and feature LED lighting were all installed in the showroom. The customer washrooms were refitted to the brand design with ceramic floor and wall tiling, IPS (Intruder Protection Systems) and new sanitary ware.

The workshop renovations were phased, to allow continued operations throughout the project. Decorations were completed throughout with LED lighting, power and data services implemented. A workshop kitchen was installed, and the existing washrooms were refitted with hygienic wall finishes and sanitary ware.

Externally, at the front of the development, car park safety hooped barriers, telescopic bollards and paladin fencing were installed with sliding gates. The existing tarmac surface was planed off and the whole area was completely retarmacked. New turf and Laurel bushes were added to the external perimeter of the development and block paved walkways were laid to the entrances of the showroom.
