Project Details

Areas of the existing partitioning, flooring, ceilings, lighting, wall tiles, toilet cubicles, electrical and mechanical services were stripped out ready for the new brand design to be implemented. Externally the car park areas were weeded and cleared ready for car storage. New hit-and-miss timber fencing and gates were installed to cordon off the sales and car preparation areas.

After the strip out works were finished, reconfiguration of the existing walls and stud partitioning, ceiling, office glazing and soft floor finishes were installed in the ground floor showroom area. For the new water, power and data services required for the vehicle and customer service locations, trenches were formed and trunking was laid to feed these requirements. Ceramic floor and wall tiling were installed in the customer restroom and showroom. The shopfront curtain walling, roller shutter doors and glazing were resprayed both externally and internally. Pre-finished doors, painted skirting boards and architraves were fitted in all areas. The dealership was then redecorated and areas had further lighting added where required.

The existing showroom heating and ventilation system was serviced and made operable again. Air conditioning services were installed in both new and existing areas along with ventilation to the office and washroom facilities. The electrical installation provided power, lighting and data services and branded feature LEDs in the specialist showroom furniture were part of the lighting installation. The customer washrooms were refitted with IPS (Intruder Protection Systems), ceramic wall and floor tiling and new sanitary ware.

The workshop was refurbished with LED lighting, power and data services and fresh décor throughout. Finally, a resin floor finish was laid throughout the area, with line markings and MOT bay chevrons.

General external works were completed to tidy up the overgrown, unkempt site. Trenching was formed and bases laid to facilitate the installation of new EV charging points. The existing steel sliding gates were serviced to make them operable, and a metal pedestrian gate was added to complete accessibility. Timber hit-and-miss fencing was implemented to the external AC compound and the full width of the rear car park to provide separation from the car storage and prep areas. New car parking bay delineation was added, along with markings for EV charging points.
