Fit Out Project in Banbury
Commercial Fit Out Case study
The Client had a large, empty unit and required a factory floor, clean room, electronics room and offices. To facilitate this, works were required to install a mezzanine floor within a portion of the unit to allow for several offices with the clean room and electronics room below.
The mezzanine floor was installed and then enclosed using jumbo stud partitioning including viewing windows to look out onto the factory floor. The columns were protected by installing fire rated column cases. All elements of the mezzanine installation was carried out to a 1-hour fire rated standard.
The offices were formed out of new stud partitioning and white framed office glazing with integral blinds, installed to provide several new offices, meeting rooms and administration rooms. All areas had new lay in grid ceilings installed. All these, along with the open plan areas, had new lighting, ventilation, and AC services to suit the new layout.
New doors with DDA vision panels where required were fitted along with ironmongery, frames, architraves and skirting which were all prepared, and ready for decoration.
New electrical power and data services were installed in all the new rooms and the open plan office. These were installed into the new stud walls and into new floor boxes. A new clean room was formed on the ground floor underneath the mezzanine, with hygienic walls and double access doors. A completely new data cabling system was installed feeding all the new data points to both floors.
New carpet tiling was installed to the new mezzanine floor offices and meeting rooms. Altro Xpresslay, which is an adhesive free safety flooring, was installed within the clean room area. All new and existing walls and joinery were prepared, and new decorations were completed to all areas.
Once all of the works were complete, we carried out a full builders clean prior to handover to the client.
