Steel staircases
At Vanguard we design manufacture and install bespoke steel staircases perfectly suited to meet any commercial, retail or industrial needs. Any type of flooring can be accommodated or treads can be pre-fitted in feature hardwoods.
For a highly durable finish with excellent gloss retention our industrial staircases come powder coated. Depending on floor usage, travel distances and design criteria these staircases are designed to meet document K or M of the building regulations as required.
Balustrades
Vanguard manufacture and install high-quality balustrades for industrial applications, commercial use or public areas. From powder-coated industrial handrails to frameless structural glass, off-the-shelf or bespoke… we deliver balustrade systems to meet any requirement and budget.
Platform lifts for disabled access
Platform lifts are a cost-effective solution to providing disabled access. Virtually no building work is required as our platform lifts come supplied with their own integral shaft enclosure.
To suit your exact needs you’ve a range of options available – size, glazing, powder-coating, fire rating etc. Standard platform size is 1480x1100mm to meet Part M of the Building Regulations.
Goods/ mezzanine lifts
Goods lifts and mezzanine lifts make transferring goods between 2 or 3 floors simpler, safer and more efficient. Especially suited to making the most of space unlocked by multi-tier mezzanine floors.
A neater solution than lift trucks or conveyors, goods lifts and mezzanine lifts are perfect for larger retail stores, warehouses or industrial premises. Better comply with HSE regulations and reduce the risk of injury to employees. A single person can manage handling processes without the need for manual lifting.
Step lifts and dumbwaiters
Step lifts provide an elegant and simple solution to dealing with a change in floor level. Internal or external application, there is little or no building alterations needed. Typically step lifts accommodate a vertical rise of up to 1m.
The classic compact service lift. Dumbwaiters are ideally-suited to transferring smaller items. Whether that’s transferring goods in a retail environment, stationery in an office, food in a restaurant or records in a medical centre….
